Welcome to IAAPS!
The IAAPS is an organization dedicated solely to the application of psychoanalytic/psychodynamic principles to everyday social problems and their practical solution. We aim to build peaceful communities through interdisciplinary, collaborative approaches to violence prevention and social services, and through a scholarly and creative examination of community and socio-cultural issues.
Our methods compliment contemporary research, training, and practice methods. We foster a spirited exchange of ideas, publishing a quarterly journal, The International Journal of Applied Psychoanalytic Studies, and organizing a regular conference. Our focus is both local and global. All interested persons are encouraged to join us in this venture.
IAAPs is not a membership organization, but rather it is a charitable foundation under the 501(C)3 Charitable organization with IRS approval. If you are interested in usung us to apply for a grant, please contact Dr. Frank Sacco firstname.lastname@example.org
